The Bachelor of Business Administration degree aims to allow you to study a wide range of business, management,
finance, accounting and economics modules to a high level at University. The course is integrated and structured
so that you can study the fundamentals of management, accounting, finance and economics at Stage 1 and then also
select from a wide choice of specialist subject areas later in the course.
In order to attain this qualification you must study four module sets from Stage 1 and eight module sets from Stage 2
and Stage 3.
Graduate Opportunities:Graduates with a BBA degree will be equipped to work in a variety of general management and professional positions.

Entry Requirements
The Programme has a number of entry points for applicants with advanced or higher level school qualifications, certificate and diploma awards. The minimum of 200 UCAS points: eg. A-Level Grade A (120 points); Grade B (100 points); Grade C (80 points); Grade D (72 points).
Students over the age of 21 (‘mature students”) who have relevant work experience may also be accepted even if they have limited formal educational qualification.
Exemption
If you already achieved qualifications which you think are relevant to the subjects covered in the Management Programme you may be eligible for exemptions. This means that you may not have to work through some of the programme modules or sit the module set examinations. Students are awarded a maximum of six exemptions from the Management Programme. Exemptions can only be applied for at the same time as applying to the programme. Therefore, applicants must provide all relevant qualifications, official transcripts and clearly state any results which are pending that are being used to gain the exemption(s). Any requests for exemptions after the date of application will not be considered.
Study Options
- The recommended total study hour for each module is approximately 200 hours.
- 2-hour tuition per week at Glamis.
All our tutors are approved by Heriot-Watt University and follow a continuous development programme.

Examination
A 3-hour written examination per module. Examinations are set every 6 months for all subjects (beginning of June and December) at the Mauritius Examination Syndicate (MES)

HRDC Refund
The HRDC will refund up to 20% of the course fees to individuals following the final year of the first degree or those following a Masters Degree from a
recognized University and run locally on a part time basis. The support will be subject to the following:
- For employees who are on the firm’s payroll and for whom the employer is contributing the levy and who are sponsored by their employers, the employer can claim 20% of the fees paid under the levy grant system.
- In case of non sponsored employees following similar courses, and for whom levy is being paid by the employer, the HRDC will refund directly to the employee 20% of the fees paid.
- All such payments will be effected upon proof of admission and payment. Employees should have followed the course for at least 6 months before making any such claim.
