Programme Structure and Module Set
The Management Programme is divided into three Stages: Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. These stages are the equivalent to three years of on-campus full-time study. Unlike the on-campus courses, students can take as long as like over each stage provided that they complete their degree within a ten year period.
In order to obtain a degree, students normally are required to take ( or be given credit for) four module sets at each stage of the course. All students must be credited with a total of 12 module sets. A module set consists of three modules. A module is similar to a subject such as Auditing or a sub-branch of a subject, e.g. Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
There are only four module sets available in Stage 1, so they are all compulsory. Stage 2 contains five module sets and stage 3, seven set modules. Some choice is available, therefore, stage 2 and a little more choice at stage 3.
Entry Requirements
The minimum requirement is 200 UCAS points: e.g. A-Levels 2 C's (80 x 2) & 1 D (60) hence a total of 220.
