Customer Service Professional (CSP®)
Who sould study CSP?
The Customer Service Professional (CSP) award has been designed for those wishing to adopt and implement excellent customer services principles. The CSP award stimulates understanding of the principles, terminology and concepts of marketing and customer services
Why study CSP?
- Appreciate the importance of the customer and excellent customer service.
- Deepen your knowledge of the financial services environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the structures and management functions and the role
of the individual within the framework. - Elect to study specialist technical areas such as mortgage products,
practice and policies and the UK general insurance sector. This in turn can
provide a pathway to gain full appropriate qualifications such as CeMAP®, CeFA® and
CeRGI®.

Please note that candidates cannot count both 'Personal Development and Team Management' and 'Supervising in a Regulated Environment' towards the CSP qualification.

Exemption
If you hold modules as part of other ifs qualifications then you may carry a maximum of two modules as credit towards the CSP.

Study Options
The recommended total study hours for each module is approximately 40 - 60 hours.

Examination
The ifs works in partnership with Pearson VUE, a leading international electronic delivery provider,
to offer electronic multiple-choice examinations.
Module 1 is assessed electronically by two-hour, 100 questions multiple-choice examinations.
Both units in Module 2 and Module 3* contain 40 MCQ's and two case-studies of five questions each.
The fourth module is a two-hour multiple-choice examination, it comprises six case-studies each containing ten questions. These are delivered electronically with results given immediately.

Kindly note that no refund will be provided if a student is already enrolled and/or if the student has already confirmed an order for study material.

HRDC Refund
The HRDC will refund up to 20% of the course fees to individuals following the final year of the first degree or those following a Masters Degree from a
recognized University and run locally on a part time basis. The support will be subject to the following:
- For employees who are on the firm’s payroll and for whom the employer is contributing the levy and who are sponsored by their employers, the employer can claim 20% of the fees paid under the levy grant system.
- In case of non sponsored employees following similar courses, and for whom levy is being paid by the employer, the HRDC will refund directly to the employee 20% of the fees paid.
- All such payments will be effected upon proof of admission and payment. Employees should have followed the course for at least 6 months before making any such claim.
