Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration

The Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration allows you to combine any three courses to achieve a stand-alone business award at postgraduate level. One of the three must be an MBA core course. It is an ideal benchmark to assess your suitability for the MBA programme and it allows you to enter the MBA without a first degree.

This certificate provides a stand-alone award, and entry onto the MBA programme if you do not have an undergraduate degree. The three courses at certificate level will count towards your diploma (six courses) or your MBA (nine courses) if you continue your studies.

Requirements

You must complete three courses, including at least one core course.

Core Courses

Elective Courses

Study Hours

Approximately 200 study hours per course

Assessement

A three hour written exam per course.

Study Options

The courses in this programme can be followed by self-study, on campus or through an Approved Learning Partner. For more information, see the Study Options section.

Entry Requirements

Entry is by a recognised first or second class honours degree, or equivalent professional qualification. However, students without a degree may register by passing the examinations in their first 3 MBA courses (including one core course). The course normally requires two years relevant business experience and evidence of English proficiency.

Exemptions

Holders of a relevant undergraduate degree may be eligible for one exemption, and there is a maximum of two exemptions for relevant professional qualifications. Credit transfers are also available. Click here for details.
